Michelle Delea is a Cork-based poet and multi-disciplinary artist who works in architectural practice and higher education. Her writing has been featured in The Stinging Fly, Type.ie, Architecture Ireland and Cork City Library’s Poetry in the Park series. As well as producing documentary film, Michelle has collaborated on several poetry films, including Lón (The Crossover Connects & The Garden Collective) which, in 2020, was selected for screening at the REEL Poetry Film Festival Houston, and shortlisted for the International Ó Bhéal Poetry Film Competition. Engagement and experimentation run throughout Michelle’s work, which often present the themes of urbanism, nature and the female experience.
We are grateful for the support of The Arts Council and Limerick City & County Council.
