Dr. Lauren McNamara is a poet and playwright from Limerick. She has won numerous awards and writing residencies including the Yeats Tower Slam, Munster Slam, Galway Fringe Spoken Word Award and Limerick Fringe Spirit of the Fringe Award and is a former Dromineer and Nenagh Literary Festival Writer in Residence. Her work has been published widely and appeared on television and radio. She has also performed at festivals such as Glastonbury and Indiependence.
