Breda Spaight is from Co. Limerick. The title of her debut collection is Watching for the Hawk (Arlen House). Her work has appeared in Poetry Ireland Review, Southword, Banshee, Cyphers, and New Irish Writing; she was a featured poet in The Stinging Fly. Her poem, ‘The Curse’, is shortlisted for this year’s Forward Prize – Best Single Poem Written.
