Barbara DeCoursey Roy is an American poet from the St Louis, Missouri area. Her past lives include actress, teacher and psychotherapist. Barbara has contributed to several international online poetry workshops. She was introduced to the Irish poetry scene in 2015 and participated in the late Kevin Higgins Over-the-Edge poetry community continuously until 2023.
Her poems have been published in Skylight 47, The Galway Review, Popshot Quarterly, Pendemic, Drawn to the Light, Pulse—Voices from the Heart of Medicine, and The Marrow Poetry. She was one of four women whose chapbook How Bright The Wings Drive Us won the 2021 Dreich Collaborative Chapbook competition.
