Dr. Alicia Byrne Keane is a poet from Dublin, with work published in The Moth, Banshee, Anthropocene, The Stinging Fly (Featured Poet Winter 2021-22), and Dedalus Press's anthology Romance Options: Love Poems for Today, among other publications. Alicia is in receipt of an Irish Arts Council Literature Bursary 2024, and is currently carrying out a teaching residency at the University of Galway. Further work is forthcoming from Oxford Poetry. Alicia’s debut full poetry collection, Pretend Cartoon Strength, was published by Broken Sleep Books in 2023.

Alicia’s work addresses housing and domesticity, urban nature as trace or haunting, and contemporary online landscapes.
